JAKARTA: Being a perfectionist has its plus and minuses.
For soap opera actress-turned-singer Cinta Laura, wanting her newly embarked musical career to be perfect means hours of dancing lessons.
“I’ve been practicing for a month,” the 16-year old told kapanlagi.com on Monday.
Preparing for her video clip of the recently launched first single “Uang atau Cinta” (Love or Money), Cinta wants her performance to be immediately perfect to avoid retaking too many shoots, she explains.
“I’ve postponed acting as I need to concentrate on my dancing. I practice once a week and I’ve only rehearsed four sessions,” the Indonesian teenage TV star who rose to popularity partly for not speaking her native language fluently says.
“I’m a perfectionist.”
“I don’t want the director to waste time retaking scenes.” — JP
