(ANTARA News) - Kepala Badan China Dirikan Pabrik Semen Di Kalbar
Penanaman Modal Daerah (BPMD) Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, Yoseph Alexander, mengatakan, China akan menanamkan modalnya untuk pendirian pabrik semen di provinsi itu.
"Saat ini prosesnya baru masuk di tingkat pusat melalui Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal untuk investasi di Kalbar," kata Alexander di Pontianak, Kamis.
Alexander menjelaskan, karena baru pada tahap penjajakan, maka untuk penentuan lokasi pun masih belum dilakukan.
Akan tetapi, kata dia, Kalbar siap menerima investor China tersebut.
"Karena kabarnya mereka akan melakukan pengadaan listrik sendiri, jadi tidak masalah," jelas Alexander.
Menurut dia, Kalbar termasuk salah satu provinsi yang memiliki peluang untuk investasi pabrik semen. Selama ini pasokan semen hanya datang dari daerah lain di Indonesia.
Data BKPM menyebutkan, investor pabrik semen tersebut berasal dari BUMN China.
Pabrik semen tersebut berkapasitas 10.000 klinker per hari yang dilengkapi dengan pabrik penggilingan semen, pelabuhan, pembangkit listrik dengan daya 60 MW dan 1X18 MW, serta fasilitas produksi dan pendukung lainnya.
Total investasi dari pabrik semen tersebut sebesar USD 600 juta. Selain Kalbar, pembangunan pabrik semen lain oleh BUMN China tersebut juga berada di daerah Tanjung (Kalimantan Selatan) dan Tanah Grogot (Kalimantan Timur). (ANT)
