Police claim to identify murderer of Singaporean
The North Jakarta Police have identified a man who, they allege, stabbed Singaporean National Chelapan Karunandhi, 43 to death.
"We have interrogated all seven friends of the victim, all are Singaporean nationals and we suspect one of them," North Jakarta Police spokesman Comr. Maskur Bujang Chaniago said Sunday as quoted by Kompas.com.
However he could not yet figure out the motive.
Karunandhi was found dead with injuries to his neck in his apartment at Mall of Indonesia (MOI) in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, on Saturday.
He was a specialist at the gas-and-coal-fired power plant (PLTGU) in Muara Tawar, in Bekasi.
